Excerpt from my blog:

"1:30 p.m. We perform at Lakeridge. It was fun, because we saw Larry and went to the band room and stuff. Story! Okay so we play this song called “Root Beer Rag” which features the saxophone section. So they go up to the front and we start playing. One alto sax, Mic, starts playing the 1st half of his solo, but messes up insanely. So for the 2nd half, he doesn’t even play, so another sax, Zach, plays it. While he’s playing it, Mic, hits him! It was insano! So then we go back to the band room so that the orchestra can play, and I hear Mic yelling something along the lines of “…it is rude and inconsiderate to someone who has been practicing for weeks on end!” And then Ben Major comes up along with Cameron, who’s already there, and they say something along the lines of “It’s not his fault he can actually play it!” Then we get on the bus to go and I ask Zach what happened, and he tells me, and then Ben goes “And I got to yell at Mic! That was the best thing I’ve ever done!” Hee hee."

Oh, you meant this year??

I loved the Experience Music Project. The "pretend you're a band" thing was so awesome. We went twice. Japanadians and Los Penguinos, heck yes! lol And then I was surprised how fun it was to play the electric guitar. It inspired me to continue to attempt to teach myself the acoustic more.

It's true! That's my goal over the summer.. to learn how to play at least one song.

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I've seen that kind of sad thing happen, just about every day at school. I'm talking about Mic. I'm sorry but it really is sad how some people think it's alright to make fun of some people, in their face or behind their back, even if they just so happen to be slightly more different than us. Please, cmon guys. We know the truth. Is it so easy to forget? Good luck, and have fun with your guitarring.

Don't worry, I'm not offended. I needed that. I concede that I think there were times when he needed to be told maybe that his actions were over the top, but you're right, I do know better. I should feel twice as bad because I was one of his few friends. I've always stood up for him at least as a good guy, and I'm not totally sure why I didn't this time. Sorry, you guys. Of course, I always give full permission for ya'all to make fun of me as much as you want :D
